A real factory, not a reseller
Besa Design (Besa Aydınlatma) has been manufacturing lighting in Istanbul since 1984. Behind our showroom in Şişhane – the historic lighting district of Istanbul – stands our own large-scale production facility, where the key manufacturing steps of a light fitting are carried out under one roof: cutting, forming, finishing, assembly and final inspection.
Most lighting sellers buy finished products and resell them. We make them. That means when you send us a drawing, it goes straight to the people and machines that will produce it – no agents, no outsourcing chain, no guesswork about who is responsible for quality.
Our production capacity is documented by an official capacity report (kapasite raporu) registered in Turkey, which also allows us to issue export-registered invoices for trading companies.
From raw metal to finished light
Our in-house capabilities
CNC laser cutting
Sheet-metal bodies, decorative patterns, perforated surfaces, plates, brackets and ceiling canopies are cut by CNC laser directly from digital drawings.
For your project: custom motifs, cut-out patterns and even your logo can be produced precisely, and every piece in a batch comes out identical.
CNC metal spinning
Domes, cones, bowls, shades and canopies are formed by spinning flat metal sheet on our CNC spinning machines.
For your project: shade diameters and profiles are made to the exact size your design needs, not chosen from a limited stock range.
CNC tube cutting
Arms, stems, rods, frames and drop tubes are cut to precise length and angle by CNC.
For your project: drop lengths and arm spans can be set to your ceiling height and room, with consistent geometry across many pieces.
In-house plating baths
Gold, brass, nickel, chrome and antique finishes are applied in our own plating baths inside the facility.
For your project: the finish is controlled by us from start to end, so colour stays consistent across a whole hotel or restaurant order – and repeat orders can be matched later.
Assembly & wiring
Metal parts, glass, marble and shades are assembled, and bulb holders and wiring are fitted according to the agreed specification.
For your project: electrical details such as bulb holder type and number of lights are built to your project brief.
Inspection & export packing
Every finished piece is checked before it leaves the facility and packed for long-distance transport.
For your project: your lights are prepared for international shipping, not just local delivery.

Share your drawing, photo or product link with dimensions, room size, ceiling height, quantity and delivery country – by WhatsApp or email, in English.
Specification & quote
We confirm materials, finish, dimensions and lighting details, and send you the price and the production lead time.
Approval
When needed, technical details or a sample are agreed before production starts, so there are no surprises.
Production
Cutting, spinning, assembly and finishing are carried out in our own facility in Istanbul.
Quality check & packing
Every piece is checked and carefully packed for international transport.
Delivery
We ship to your address or your forwarder, and prepare the export documents for your order.
Export & international orders
We supply clients outside Turkey and export directly. For Turkish exporters and trading companies, we can also issue export-registered invoices backed by our official capacity report. Shipping by air, road or sea is quoted per project according to size, weight and destination.
Istanbul sits between Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa, which keeps transport times and costs reasonable for most of our international clients. And because you work directly with the manufacturer, there is no middleman between your design and the factory floor.

Frequently asked questions
What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum. We produce single bespoke pieces for private homes as well as large batches for hotels, restaurants, retail chains and mosque projects. Unit prices are quoted according to quantity.
Can you make a light from a photo or a design drawing?
Yes. Most of our custom work starts from a technical drawing, a sketch, a reference photo or a product link. We review it, suggest materials and construction details, and confirm dimensions with you before production.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on the design, the quantity and the finish, and is confirmed in your quote. Standard models from our catalogue usually ship in about 10 business days; bespoke and large-quantity projects are scheduled individually.
Can the fittings be made for the electrical standards in my country?
Tell us your country and voltage when you send your request. Bulb holder type (for example E14, E27 or G9), wiring and lighting details are agreed with you as part of the project specification.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We export directly to clients outside Turkey. Every order is packed for international transport, and the shipping method (air, road or sea) and cost are quoted per project.
Can you produce under our own brand?
Yes, we manufacture for designers, retailers and wholesalers who sell under their own name. Designs, finishes and packaging requirements can be discussed for your collection.
What should I send to get a quote?
A drawing, photo or link of the design; approximate dimensions; the room size and ceiling height; preferred finish and materials; the quantity; and the delivery country. WhatsApp or email in English is fine.

This is where your light is made. Cutting, welding, turning and assembly all happen in our own workshop, run by craftsmen who have been building chandeliers since 1984. You deal directly with the people who make your order, not a reseller.
